Request an Accident Report

The Westchester Police Department uses LexisNexis Coplogic Solutions (e-crash) for completing accident reports. If you were involved in an accident within the Village of Westchester, the Officer should have given you a card with specific information regarding your accident and how to access the report online.

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for the State of Illinois to assign a control number to the traffic crash report and for the information to be available.

Illinois statute requires that the driver of a vehicle involved in a crash shall, as soon as possible but not later than 10 days after the crash, complete an Illinois Motorist Report.
