About the Manager's Office
The Manager's Office is led by the Village Manager, who serves as the chief administrative officer of the Village of Westchester. The Village Manager oversees the day-to-day operations, delivery of services, and is responsible for the efficient administration of all Village departments.
Westchester operates under a council-manager form of government as defined by the Illinois Municipal Code. The Village President, Village Clerk, and six trustees are elected at large to serve four-year terms. The Village Manager is hired by the Village President and Board of Trustees, and all department managers are hired by the Village Manager.
